National Bakery stands out from the competition due to their uniqueness, outstanding quality, history, and reputation. All the bread products are Kosher to serve the growing Jewish community. Our bakery is the only bakery in the area to make wiener buns which are labeled all-purpose rolls, french horns, Kaiser hard rolls, rye bread, pullman bread and 100% whole wheat bread. A one stop shop to get any bread and desserts for any occasion. Both bread and pastry are made from the same company, old-fashioned baking: no preservatives. People come nationwide for the bread products because no other bakery compares. Italian bread with crunchy crust reminds customers of the bread they enjoyed growing up. Stop by and visit soon!

Best buns! Well..and bakery. No preservatives so extra special! Nothing like their fresh baked goods... hard to not leave with out buying something not on your list due to freshness and variety. Love National bakery...local gem!

Best hard rolls in the land when theyre fresh. A cpl times lately they were a Lil off on that mark, which was never like them. Theyre supposed to be made fresh daily though. As for the classic rolls, id avoid buying them in the plastic bags via Bull's Head area satellite location, plastic ruins their consistency (i guess theyre choices are limited over there, shipping em across town). People that work at the main bakery are sometimes rude as hell lately (i think the place got sold at some point i heard(?)), but their rolls are an area tradition/staple, and even in this day of inflated prices, are still pretty darn reasonable.

Best bakery around, hands down. Everything is always so fresh and delicious! The hard rolls are like heaven, as are the pastries. The linzer cookies are my favorite!

Wow!! We stumbled across this bakery during a trip (we are from NC), and just had to come back again before we head home. Everything I tried was absolutely delicious and so fresh. Hard rolls, lobster tail, bagels, and the danishes. And everyone working both times I visited were very friendly and helpful in deciding what to try. Yum!!

You know what ruins a business? Horrible customer service. I love the bread here but the woman at the counter today who β€œhelped” us was absolutely awful. When we asked the prices, she rolled her eyes and was so rude/impatient. I thought I was a one off situation (maybe she was having a bad day) but I scrolled through the comments & plenty of people have complained about the treatment from a woman-which I’m assuming is the same lady (older woman who wore pink today). The bakery responded to the other review saying they will look into it-clearly they didn’t or don’t care about the way they present their business. Rude, unprofessional and AWFUL energy. She made us feel uncomfortable the second we walked in. Id give her 0 stars if possible. Doesn’t matter how good the product is… if the person behind the product is down right nasty! I love supporting local business but they have lost a customer. They will continue to lose customers due to lack of self-awareness. I recommend going to support families who are kind, welcoming and spread LOVE.
